ABCs, and other letters

The fourth annual Craft Lake City LetterWest, a two-day conference celebrating the art of hand lettering, happens Friday and Saturday at the Midvale Main Arts and Culture District in Midvale. The event gathers calligraphers, lettering artists, tattoo artists, illustrators, muralists, designers and their enthusiasts from around the world. General admission is $350, and includes access to workshops, panel discussions and a mixer; for $80, you can attend a workshop and keynote address by legendary L.A. graffiti artist Chaz Bojórquez. Sheng Wang does stand-up

“The best thing about an office job is the fact that you can print — you can print whatever you’ve got to print, man,” stand-up comic Sheng Wang observed during his 2023 Netflix special, “Sweet & Juicy.” Wang, a Taiwanese American comedian who worked as a writer and story editor for the sitcom “Fresh Off the Boat,” is scheduled to perform Friday at Kingsbury Hall, 1395 E. ‘Exes & O’s,’ live

Podcaster and LGBTQIA+ advocate Shannon Beveridge is bringing her video podcast, “Exes & O’s” — in which she talks frankly about queer relationships and sex — to The State Room, 638 S. Utah Royals kick off
