‘Bluey,’ live on stage

If you have small children, then the name Bluey is already a familiar one — the title character of a popular children’s TV series. “Bluey’s Big Play” is a live stage version of that show, whose tour is set to arrive at the Eccles Theater, 131 S. Main St., Salt Lake City, for performances Friday, Saturday and next Sunday, Jan. 28. Showtimes are 6 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m., 2 and 5 p.m. Friday, and 1 p.m. on the 28th. Tickets available at live-at-the-eccles.com.

True crime, aliens — and booze

The podcast “And That’s Why We Drink” is dedicated to the paranormal and true crime — and, as the name suggests, drinking while hosts Christine Schiefer and Em Schulz talk comedically about those things. The show is on tour, landing for a show Thursday at The Depot, 13 N. 400 West, Salt Lake City. The show starts at 7 p.m., is limited to those 21 and older, and is sold out.
