Playboi Carti postponed again?
It looks like rapper Playboi Carti’s “Antagonist” tour — which had been set to land Sunday at Delta Center, 301 W. South Temple, Salt Lake City — may be delayed again. The rapper had been scheduled to tour in September, but the tour had been postponed. On Carti’s website now, the dates all say “TBD,” suggesting another delay. Check deltacenter.com if the show is still happening.

The Jazz’s home stand
The Utah Jazz is in the middle of a six-game home stand at Delta Center, 301 W. South Temple, Salt Lake City — playing the Indiana Pacers on Monday, the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday and the Oklahoma City Thunder on Thursday. Games start at 7 p.m. each night. A pioneering Oscar winner
Ruth E. Carter, who made history as the first Black artist to win two Academy Awards in the same category, is scheduled to give the MLK Week keynote address at the University of Utah, Tuesday, noon, at the moot courtroom of the S.J. Quinney College of Law on the U. campus. Carter won the Oscar for costume design in 2019 for “Black Panther,” and again in 2023 for “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.” Her other credits include “Do the Right Thing,” “Malcolm X,” “Amistad” and “Selma.” The event is open to everyone.
