Pioneer Theatre Company’s production of the Utah premiere of playwright Karen Zacarías’ modern comedy “Native Gardens” happens, starting Friday and running through Jan. 27, at the Pioneer Memorial Theatre, 300 S. 1400 East, Salt Lake City. The play centers on a rising attorney, Pablo, and his wife, Tania, a doctoral candidate and mother-to-be, who have just bought a house in D.C., next door to an older couple with an elaborate English garden — and what happens when a barbecue and an old dispute over a fence line spirals into a feud.
