These Salt Lake Valley and Park City restaurants will serve meals or offer carryout on Thanksgiving Day

There are many options for those wanting a traditional holiday dinner without the mess in the kitchen.

Cooking a Thanksgiving meal, let’s face it, requires a considerable amount of preparation and work. Aside from the turkey, every family member has a favorite side dish they just have to eat. Then come dessert preferences.

For those wanting to have a more relaxed Thanksgiving this year, but still craving a traditional meal, these restaurants in the Salt Lake City area and in Park City will be serving food, offering carryout or catering on Thanksgiving Day.

Some of these venues require reservations and some have specific pick-up and order deadlines. Some restaurants have already sold out, so you may want to place orders or make reservations soon.

Arlo will be offering takeout meals on Wednesday night, Nov. 24. These meals can feed four to six people and will cost $200. They consist of everything but the turkey. Arlo will not have Thanksgiving Day service.

You can pre-order a traditional Thanksgiving meal that will feed six to eight people. The slow-roasted turkey roll is the star of this meal, accompanied by sides and Archibald’s famous pumpkin pie cake. The total cost is $180. Place orders from Nov. 3-20 and pick-up times are available Nov. 23-24 at Archibald’s in Gardner Village.

Bambara will have its standard dinner menu available with special seasonal offerings for the holiday on Thanksgiving Day from 1-6 p.m.

Brio is accepting pre-orders for curbside, pick-up and delivery on Thanksgiving Day. The menu consists of several Thanksgiving classics. The price depends on the number of people ordered for. All pre-orders are due by Nov. 23 at 6 a.m.

This catering company has a variety of packages available for pickup the day before Thanksgiving, Nov. 24. Whether you’re looking for an entree, an entire meal or just the sides, they have something for everyone.

On Thanksgiving Day, this Irish pub is serving up a three-course Thanksgiving meal. The cost is $39 for adults and $19 for children under 12. There is no takeout available.

This contemporary French restaurant has a four-course, $80 per person meal available on Thanksgiving Day. The restaurant will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m, but there is no takeout available.

A three-course meal will be available at the restaurant on Thanksgiving Day from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. The regular menu will also be available on the holiday. The pricing depends on the choice of entree (like mixed-herb roasted turkey breast, petite filet mignon or bone-in ribeye), but it ranges from $49-$74. Third-party deliveries like Doordash will be available from 11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

This steakhouse’s Thanksgiving Day menu includes carved, roasted Tom turkey, homemade creamy mashers and pumpkin pie vanilla whipped cream costing $40.75 for adults and $20.75 for children under 12. Takeout will be available from 2-8 p.m.

Dinner for eight people, priced at $295, is available for curbside pick-up from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Call ahead to reserve your order.

From 12-6 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day, this country French restaurant in Little Cottonwood Canyon will be serving Thanksgiving classics from smoked wild turkey, glazed king salmon, to Yukon gold mashed potatoes and pumpkin cheesecake. The cost for adults is $130 and $65 for children ages 5-12.

Two eateries inside the hotel will offer food on Thanksgiving Day. The Coffee Shop and Lucky H Bar & Grille will have a three-course Thanksgiving menu available from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., costing $49 (plus tax) for adults and $20 (plus tax) for children 12 and under.

The Grand Ballroom Thanksgiving Buffer, from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. is reservation only. Adults pay $75 (plus tax) and children 12 and under pay $37.50 (plus tax). There is also an 18% service charge. You can view the full menu at bit.ly/3nufehu.

Log Haven will be serving a four-course plated meal on Thanksgiving Day and the restaurant will be open from 1-5:30 p.m. There is no takeout available and reservations are required. This can be done starting on Oct. 25. For adults, the dinner will cost $75 and for children $39. Due to COVID-19, they will not be accepting parties larger than 12 people.

Pago will be offering two different Thanksgiving meal kits — an omnivore and a vegetarian version. The omnivore kit serves four people and costs $160 (or $40 per person) and the vegetarian kit serves two people and costs $60 (or $30 per person). Online orders are now open, and the kits can be picked up on Nov. 24 from noon to 4 p.m only at their Pago on Main location.

Thanksgiving Dinner will be served from 1-8 p.m. It will cost $60 for adults and $25 for kids. Takeout to serve the dinner at home is available the day before Thanksgiving for $200 (feeds four people) from 5-9 p.m.

For $42.99 a person, the grill offers several Thanksgiving staples starting at 11 a.m. In addition, every family that dines at the grill on Thanksgiving Day will get a special coupon to use in 2022.

Regular breakfast will be served, and dinner is by reservation only. There will be no takeout on Thanksgiving and there is no menu set currently, but it will cost $60 per plate.

Takeout reservations are open and can be picked up on Thanksgiving Day. It costs $89 for two people, $179 for four and $340 for eight. The hotel will also be hosting the Oak Room Thanksgiving Brunch Buffet which will cost $75 per adult and $37.50 for children ages 5-12. This is a reservation-only event for parties up to eight.

Pre-orders for take-home dinners are available now. There are a few different dinner kit options: turkey dinner, prime rib dinner or salmon dinner. Each is $150 and additional servings cost $30, $45 and $40 respectively. Each serving feeds four people. Pick up for the orders is open on Nov. 24 from noon to 8 p.m.

Two restaurants within Snowbird will offer Thanksgiving food. The Atrium has a buffet menu with all the trimmings. Adults pay $64 and kids pay $32. It is open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Aerie will have a Thanksgiving buffet of favorite holiday dishes for adults at $69 and children at $35. It is open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Reservations are strongly recommended.
