A full slate at Eccles
Five Christmas-themed shows in five nights at the Eccles Theater, 131 S. Main, Salt Lake City. On Monday at 7:30 p.m. and Tuesday at 2 and 7:30 p.m., Mannheim Steamroller Christmas will feature instrumental rock with a holiday theme. On Wednesday and Thursday, at 7:30 each night, dancer Derek Hough performs a holiday show. (Tickets for Hough’s shows are nearly sold out.) And on Friday at 7:30 p.m., the father-daughter duo Mat & Savanna Shaw are scheduled to perform Christmas music. For tickets, go to live-at-the-eccles.com.

‘Holiday Pops’ at Utah Symphony
The Utah Symphony has two holiday shows scheduled next weekend. On Friday and Saturday night, starting at 7:30 p.m., the annual “Holiday Pops Extravaganza will feature a selection of favorite seasonal tunes, with vocalists Shayna Steele and Chester Gregory. Also on Saturday, at 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., the symphony will put on their all-ages “Here Comes Santa Claus!” concerts, with a story performed by Kaitlin Mills (as Nöel the elf), Ellesse Hargreaves (as Carol) and Lucas Proctor (as Santa). A last chance for artisan gifts
Utah’s season for holiday pop-up markets is winding down, but there’s one last entry: The Winter Solstice Bazaar, Saturday and next Sunday, Dec. 22, at Millcreek Common, 1354 E. Chambers Ave., Millcreek. The event promises holiday gifts, vintage items and handmade artisan food. The event runs Saturday from 5 to 9 p.m., and next Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Free admission.
