The lineup for the 6th Kilby Block Party is here — and it got bigger

The Utah-grown festival is set to return in May 2025.

The lineup for the 2025 Kilby Block Party — Utah’s homegrown festival — is here.

And there are a few surprises.

Next year, the Kilby Block Party will expand to four days, starting on May 15 and ending on May 18. In the past, the festival has only been three days long.

According to a Tuesday news release announcing the 2025 plan, this change will allow the festival to “expand its footprint” at the Fairpark, and will provide additional space for things like water stations and places to relax and dance. The festival will also use the Days of ’47 Arena for one of its smaller stages to “reduce audio bleed.”

There are 75 artists currently scheduled to cross the festival’s stages, with three artists yet to be determined.

Thursday’s headliner is English rock band New Order; Friday’s is Baltimore-based indie band Beach House; Saturday’s is rock band Weezer; and Sunday’s is is electronic duo Justice.

Other artists on the bill that people might recognize include Julien Baker & Torres, Built to Spill, St. Vincent and Wallows.

Last year, music publication Stereogum dubbed Kilby Block Party as the “real deal.” Fans from across the nation flock to Utah every year to attend the festival. The news release estimates that over 25,000 people came to the festival each day last year.

Kilby Block Party started in 2019 to celebrate 20 years of the iconic local music venue Kilby Court, which recently celebrated its 25th anniversary. Many of the artists that have performed at the block party have also performed at the garage venue. The venue was recently sold, but the new owner vowed to keep Kilby as it is.

The sale for a 4-day pass for the block party will begin Wednesday at 10 a.m. Mountain Time. All packages are available at KilbyBlockParty.com
