Scottish Festival takes over Utah State Fairpark

At the 2023 Utah Scottish Festival, there was something for everyone.

From “Outlander” merchandise to Scottish clan books, the Utah State Fairpark was full of Scottish culture. There were even booths for separate clans.

Wasatch Forge was present on Friday night, forging knives while Highland games such as the Utah Stones of Strength Strongman competition (stone throwing and lifting) and dancing took place at the opposite end of the Fairpark.

Friday night ended with a performance from Celtic music group The Wicked Tinkers.

The festival continues Sunday, from 10 a.m. to the closing ceremony at 4 p.m.
