What better time than late July, when the temperatures are flirting with triple digits, to think about your Christmas plans?
Utah musician-composer Kurt Bestor is banking on that, as tickets for his 32nd annual holiday concert extravaganza go on sale Tuesday at 10 a.m. on arttix.artsaltake.org.
Bestor’s 2019 Christmas concerts will be staged at the Eccles Theater, 131 S. Main St., Salt Lake City. Shows are scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 12, at 7:30 p.m., Friday, Dec. 13, at 8 p.m., and Saturday, Dec. 14, at 2 and 8 p.m.
Bestor will perform with his band, and with a full orchestra, as well as guest stars to be announced later.
Ticket prices range from $25 to $55. A family package is available, with up to eight tickets for $25 each; use the promo code “FAMPACK.”
Bestor recently announced a new concert series, “Music in High Places,” that will launch on Sept. 7 at Kayenta in Ivins, Utah, with still-to-be-announced dates in 2020 at Snowbird and the Natural History Museum of Utah.
