Evermore, a fantasy theme park in Utah County, prepares for its big opening

Evermore is a new theme park that promises an “immersive theatrical” experience, set in an old-world Gothic European village. Costumed actors and performers, special effects and “cutting-edge” technology are all part of the show.

The park will have a seasonal event, “Lore,” playing each evening in two versions: “Magical World of Lore,” from 5 to 7 p.m. each night, is an all-ages Halloween-style trick-or-treating adventure; and “The Cursed World of Lore,” form 8 p.m. to midnight (1 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays), tells “a terrifying tale of old Celtic lore.”

The park, in Pleasant Grove, has its grand opening on Saturday, Sept. 29, but is having a “soft opening” starting Saturday, Sept. 22, to fine-tune the experience for visitors.

Early-bird tickets for this week are $29 for adults (13 and up), and $16 for children (3 to 12). Standard pricing, starting on Sept. 29, is set at $34 for adults, $19 for children.
