Corvallis, Ore. • Utah's quest for the school's first Pac-12 title begins here tonight at the Pac-12 Gymnastics Championships.

The Utes are the top seed and will compete in the evening session which begins at 8 p.m. MDT and will be shown live on the Pac-12 Networks.

The Utes will compete against UCLA, Oregon State and Stanford. The early session, which begins at 2:30 p.m., features the lower seeds in Arizona, Washington, Arizona State and Cal.

While the winner can technically come from either session, most assume the evening session will produce the winner since those teams are the higher seeds.

Utah, ranked No. 7, finished second to UCLA a year ago. The No. 8 Bruins beat the Utes in the season opener 197.425-195.3.

Utah went undefeated against the rest of the Pac-12.

The one lineup change the Utes plan to make is to use Becky Tutka as the anchor on floor and use Georgia Dabritz fourth.

Dabritz went last against Florida because she was working a new floor pass but Utah coach Greg Marsden said she is now comfortable enough with it to go fourth again.

The Utes had a strong practice Friday and were loose and not exhibiting any signs they might be feeling pressure as the No. 1 seed. —
