Boys

5A

1. Davis - One more game to cap a perfect run through Region 1

2. Lone Peak - T.J. Haws and Frank Jackson will make the Knights tough to beat in the state tournament

3. Alta - Bounced back from first in-state slip-up

4. Pleasant Grove - It's been years since the Vikings were legitimate state title contenders

5. Taylorsville - Played in 5A's worst region, so the Warriors still have much to prove

4A

1. Bountiful - The Braves will be the favorites in the 4A tournament

2. Roy - The Royals wrapped up their first region title in 20 years

3. Olympus - Back-to-back losses end Titans' regular season on a skid

4. Orem - The Tigers are beginning to capitalize on preseason promise

5. Timpview - Like the Titans, the Thunderbirds have hit a skid at the wrong time

Girls

5A

1. Riverton - The Silverwolves finished the regular season with a perfect record

2. Layton - Finished a fantastic season by splitting the Region 1 title with Fremont

3. Fremont - The Silver Wolves will have a say in how the 5A tournament unfolds

4. Brighton - Another region champ, the Bengals enter the tournament on a winning streak

5. Granger - Capped a turnaround season with three straight wins

4A

1. Judge Memorial - The Bulldogs ascend to the top of the rankings after sealing Region 6 title

2. Bonneville - Undefeated record in region shattered with loss to Sky View

3. Timpview - The Thunderbirds also dropped their first region game, to Spanish Fork

4. Sky View - The Bobcats earn spot in the rankings with win over Bonneville, split Region 5

5. Mountain View - Bruins finish the regular season with just a handful of losses
