Gay people must think that they are the only group of people who are discriminated against, but ugly people, obese people, old people, young people, men with long hair and people with body art and piercings are just a few of the other groups.

Plenty of people face discrimination daily for reasons they can't help and for reasons that laws can't specify.

Nobody really wants to rent from or work for a bigot who hates them anyway, so anti-discrimination laws are really meant to punish the bigot, push him into the closet and restrain his freedom of speech, while failing to change his heart or mind.

I'm in favor of gay marriage, but gay people don't deserve special laws or rights. Equality means being treated as an equal, not superior.
