Re "GOP lawmaker shields John Swallow from legislative grilling" (Tribune, Feb. 16) and "GOP leaders skirt formal discussion about John Swallow scandal" (Tribune, Feb. 17):

My impression is Republican legislators, along with Utah Attorney General John Swallow and the establishment who are silent on the matter are the biggest bunch of crooks ever assembled under one roof.
