Obviously, the Republicans were so embarrassed by the disastrous administration of President George W. Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney that these two men weren't even invited to the GOP convention.
Now, what these new Republican candidates are telling us in effect is: Yes, we really messed things up, nearly brought the country down, in fact, but President Barack Obama hasn't cleaned it all up quickly enough, so please put us back in office so we can really screw things up this time!
If Americans are foolish enough to put these clowns back in power, they deserve what they will most surely get.
