The LDS Church looks at the history of violence committed against church members (such as the murders of Joseph and Hyrum Smith) and acts committed by members (such as the notorious Mountain Meadows Massacre). The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has been releasing a series of essays designed to help Mormons and others better understand sometimes-sticky historical or theological LDS issues.
Salt Lake Comic Con announced some of its more than 200 guests scheduled to attend the event, which takes place Sept. 4-6 at the Salt Palace. On the list: John Barrowman, Christopher Lloyd, Bruce Campbell and Cary Elwes. As you wish.
