Vernal police want the public's help in finding the man who took a jug filled with Relay for Life donations.

A Walgreens surveillance camera shows a man in a flannel shirt and jeans walking out of the store, at 316 U.S. 40, on Saturday with a water jug half-full of money meant for the American Cancer Society's big fundraiser.

Vernal City has posted the picture on their Facebook page in hopes that someone will recognize him.

Anyone with information is asked to call Vernal police at 435-789-5835.
