A late Thursday night fire heavily damaged a home in Murray, but no injuries were reported.

Murray Fire Department crews were dispatched to the house, located at 259 E. 4800 South, at 10:16 p.m. Thursday. Firefighters had extinguished the blaze 30 minutes later, but not before it had caused an estimated $150,000 in damages.

The home was under construction and unoccupied at the time of the fire, which is believed to have started in the attic.

The cause of the fire remained under investigation Friday evening.
