Smith's Food & Drug in partnership with Carlson Distributing, distributors of Miller64/Miller Lite, show their holiday spirit as volunteers unload 5,000 pounds of donated turkey to feed Utah's hungry. Volunteers will be delivering the meat to Dinner at Vinny's (formerly the Salvation Army Soup Kitchen) at the St. Vincent de Paul Dining Hall, 437 W. 200 South. The charitable kitchen was struggling to supply ample meat for their evening stews. This generous donation of 350 turkeys by Smith's and Carlson Distributing will provide about 15,000 servings of protein – or 25 days of meals for 600 people.
