The family of the one of the victims of a mass shooting at Connecticut elementary school has set up a fund to help every family affected by the tragedy.
Six-year-old Emilie Parker was a first-grader at Sandy Hook Elementary in Newtown, Conn. Her parents, Robbie and Alissa Parker, grew up in Ogden and raised their daughter there for a few years before moving to Connecticut less than a year ago.
After the shooting on Friday that left 27 dead, including 20 children and the gunman, who killed himself, Emilie's family set up the Emilie Parker Memorial Fund at America First Credit Union in Utah.
The Parkers will use the funds to support themselves while they take time off work to be with family and recover from their loss.
For the other victims' families, the funds will go to help them in any way they want.

Emilie's family was expected to arrive in Utah sometime Tuesday to prepare for her funeral, according to Brian Joy, the bishop of grandfather Randy Parker's local congregation of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Joy said that a viewing will be held at Myers Mortuary in Ogden on Friday. The funeral is scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday at an LDS chapel in Ogden, located at 1000 Suncrest Drive.
Joy said that church members were planning on hanging pink ribbons around town Monday evening in anticipation of the grieving family's return to Ogden. Pink was Emilie's favorite color, Joy said.
