Two multi-vehicle crashes slowed traffic to a crawl on Interstate 80 in east Salt Lake County Tuesday morning.
The Utah Highway Patrol said no serious injuries were reported, but traffic through the areas of 500 East to 800 East on westbound I-80 was experiencing delays of at least 15 minutes as crews worked to clear wreckage.
The first accident occurred when a van and passenger car collided at 8:07 a.m. near 800 East. The second crash came just two minutes later when two other vehicles collided near 500 East.
Normal traffic flow through the accident scenes resumed by 10 a.m.
