The U.S. Small Business Administration in Utah will be presenting a conference targeted toward veterans and members of the military interested in starting a small business.

The conference, "Veteran Biz 2012: Is Entrepreneurship right for me?" will be conducted from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Gail Miller Conference Center, Room 150, at 9750 S. 300 West in Sandy. There is no charge but attendance will be limited to the first 100 registrants.

Among the topics that will be discussed:

• What's my risk quotient?

• Fits & Starts — What I know now

• Shaking the money tree ­— Lessons learned

• Is entrepreneurship right for you?

• Marketing winners and follies
