In our age of high-tech revelations via the Internet, could something so humble as an old-fashioned book release possibly qualify as the ultimate, inside story?

When the family behind the book is one of the real-life inspirations for HBO's "Big Love," you bet.

If you think Bill Henrickson and his three wives have revealed all there is to say about modern plural marriage, take a peak inside the new book, Love Times Three: Our True Story of A Polygamous Marriage, the story of the Darger family.

It's a story of boy meets girl and girl, then another girl, followed by two dozen children. It's also the story of individuals — Joe, Alina, Vicki and Valerie — who choose a life plural marriage as independent polygamists who avow a church that doesn't avow them in return.

The book's chapters are parcelled out alternately to the peculiar challenges of maintaining three marriages in one, challenges mundane and exotic, accounts from three Darger children, plus a handy field guide at book's end to the history and traditions of various polygamous groups.

If you buy just one book about polygamy, here's an insiders' account to consider. —
