Martha Graham Dance Company

The legendary Martha Graham Dance Company makes a second Utah stop in as many months. The concert will feature 33 BYU dance students performing three classic pieces from the iconic modern-dance choreographer's repertoire, including "Panorama," "Lamentation" and "Appalachian Spring."

A ballet version of 'Peter Pan'

Utah Regional Ballet celebrates its 30th anniversary by restaging a favorite production, "Peter Pan." It's the classic tale about an island of lost boys who never grew up, and it includes magical fairy dust, pirates and flying. The concert will feature principal guest artist Alexander MacFarlan, of Ballet West, in the title role; Rachaelle Jardine as Wendy; Christopher Young as Captain Hook; Kaelyn Magee as Tiger Lily; and featured soloists Brian Debes and Deuardo Permuy. The performance also includes original choreography by URB artistic director Jacqueline Colledge, set to an original score by Silvio Amato. The Italian composer will be in attendance for the production.

Ballroom dance, with Hollywood style

BallroomUtah Dance Studio presents "BallroomUtah Goes Hollywood: A Pro/AM Dance Showcase," a benefit for its youth dance scholarship program. Studio students and their instructors will perform an array of styles, including cha-cha, waltz, rumba, foxtrot, salsa, tango, Argentine tango and Viennese waltz.
