Three women's soccer teams will represent the state of Utah in the NCAA Division I Women's Soccer Tournament, which begins later this week. First-round pairings and host sites were revealed for the annual College Cup on Monday.

BYU, which made it to the quarterfinals before losing a heartbreaker to eventual national champion North Carolina last season, received an at-large berth and will play host to Weber State, the Big Sky Conference champion, at Provo's South Field at 5 p.m. Friday.

Utah (10-4-6) also made the tournament as an at-large pick from the Pac-12 and will visit fourth-seeded Texas A&M (17-4-1) at 6 p.m. MST Friday.

Television broadcast plans will be announced at a later date.

The No. 19 Cougars went 14-4-1 and tied for the West Coast Conference championship with Portland and Santa Clara, which also made the tourney. The Pilots are a three seed and the Broncos a four.

Weber State (10-4-5) won the Big Sky Conference tournament. The Wildcats upset BYU via penalty kicks in the 2005 tournament.

The winner of the BYU-Weber State game will meet the winner of 17-1-1 Denver, a No. 4 seed, and 12-6-2 Colorado, in Provo. Denver downed BYU 1-0 in Provo on Sept. 26.

The bottom half of the bracket that includes BYU and Weber State also has top-seeded Florida State (18-1-3), South Alabama (13-5-2), Jackson State (10-9-2) and Ole Miss (15-5-2). —
