The fifth-seeded Utah State soccer team is through one round of the Mountain West tournament after knocking off Nevada on Monday night, 2-0, in Albuquerque, N.M.

The Aggies got a first-half from Ambryn McCallson, and Mari Miyashiro sealed the win with a score with only two minutes remaining. It was payback against a Wolfpack team that nipped Utah State to start Mountain West play.

For the match, Utah State outshot Nevada 18 to 7. Freshman keeper Natalie Stoven earned the shutout.

The tournament doesn't slow down for the Aggies, who now take on No. 4 seed New Mexico at their own soccer complex at 7 p.m. Tuesday. Utah State had a scoreless draw with the Lobos when they last faced them on Oct. 25.
