A Charlie Brown Christmas (7 p.m., ABC/Ch. 4) has been digitally remastered. Not that it matters much. You can't remaster charm. And this 1965 special has loads of that. The words "timeless classic" are flung around far too easily for things that clearly aren't, but this is. This animated special about the true meaning of Christmas is as fresh as it was nearly half a century ago.OK, the animation itself is pretty old school, but that's part of the charm. And what with the remastering, it's great-looking old-school animation.Elsewhere on TV ...NFL (6:25 p.m., ESPN): New Orleans Saints at Seattle SeahawksHow I Met Your Mother (7 p.m., CBS/Ch. 2): Barney wants to combine the rehearsal dinner with laser tag.A Charlie Brown Christmas (7 p.m., ABC/Ch. 4): Classic animation.
