It's been two years since Lupe Fiasco performed in Salt Lake City — on the closing night of the 2011 Twilight Concert Series in Pioneer Park.

The wait is nearly over. The rapper has announced his "Tetsuo and Youth Preview" tour for November, with a stop Saturday, Nov. 23, at 8 p.m. at The Depot, 400 W. South Temple, Salt Lake City.

Lupe Fiasco's latest album is "Food & Liquor 2: The Great American Rap Album," which follows up his 2006 debut but is billed as "much more than a mere sequel; instead, equal halves American history documentary and honor roll rap skill exhibition."

Tickets for the show are $36 in advance, $41 on the day of the show. They go on sale Friday, Oct. 4, at Smith's Tix locations.
