BYU football coach Bronco Mendenhall addressed his team's injury situation and other topics in a post-practice interview session on Wednesday.

Most notably, Mendenhall said that freshman defensive back Dallin Leavitt suffered a strained hip flexor during Tuesday's practice and will be out for about a week.

Receiver Eric Thornton has been converted into a defensive back to add much-needed depth to the defensive secondary.
