The Hotel & Club Elevate in downtown Salt Lake City has announced the launch of two new bars: The Historic Hotel Bar and The Barrel Room.

Bryan Borreson, owner and operator, said in a press release, "Utah has a vibrant and evolving population, and we want to evolve with them. With our history and location, we feel we are in a great position do just that." The first bar is created to be homage to the origins of the building, which opened in 1910 and will be complete with period bartenders/

"We will be expanding our hours as well, opening our doors at 4 p.m. every Tuesday through Saturday" said Borreson. The Barrel Room celebrates that history as well, hosting live bands and serving craft beer.

The launch of The Hotel is on Thursday, Jan 31 from 4 p.m. - 2 a.m., and is open to the public.
