I was watching the hearing in the U.S. Senate, in which the director of the FBI was questioned.
Sen. Mike Lee, Josh Hawley and Ted Cruz all of them were stern and asking for answers.
That’s their job.
When the director was asked multiple times if people had been fired, the director explained that the investigation was still under way.
They were upset that people had not been fired or disciplined for any mistake they made.
If the senators put the same standards on themselves as they demand from others the Senate would sure be a lot more efficient.
The senators ignore subpoenas.
They ignore the problem of assault weapon control.
They ignore their duty of maintaining the balance of power by voting party lines instead of evidence in impeachment hearings.
Ted Cruz asked him if he was lying.
They should call Senate hearings “hypocrisy in progress.”
We need to elect politicians with morals and ethics.
