It’s Easter morning, I open The Tribune, and right there on the front page is this headline, “Trump chides Romney over report remarks,” followed by this lead: “President Donald Trump took to Twitter on Saturday to disparage Sen. Mitt Romney.”
What is so newsworthy about this? Trump disparages everybody. He’s done so throughout his presidency, indeed probably throughout his life.
Why do respectable news outlets like The Tribune continue to give this abhorrent man such attention? It only boosts his inflated ego and may well be the main reason he got elected in the first place.
