Tell the Tribune: Are there too many students in your kid’s classroom?

(Al Hartmann | The Salt Lake Tribune) In this file photo, students raise their hands in full classroom of 32 students in a Spanish class at South Jordan Middle School Monday Feb. 1. Lawmakers will consider a proposal to raise taxes to fund schools, which could pay for technology, teacher salaries and relieve pressure on over crowding.

Utah has long had some of the largest class sizes in the nation, with rooms sometimes bursting with 40 or even 50 students. With school starting this month across the state, we want to hear from parents and teachers who have seen the overcrowding firsthand. Your responses won’t be published without your permission. A reporter from The Salt Lake Tribune might reach out for further comment.
