An Amber Alert on Monday afternoon ended when the mother of three Davis County children who were reported missing told police she was with them in Salt Lake City.

The parents of the children had missed a court hearing Monday morning in Davis County, dealing with a judge's order to remove the children from their parents' custody, Kaysville police said. After social workers were unable to find the family, they asked police for help because one of the children has diabetes and required medication, police said.

An Amber Alert was activated about 4 p.m.; the mother of the children, 29-year-old Qwita Solomon, called police an hour later and agreed to meet them at a convenience store in Salt Lake City, police said. Solomon was cooperative, and the children were in good condition, police reported.

The children's father, Alpha Zinneh Rogers, 30, was not with them at the store. He called police Monday night and agreed to meet officers Tuesday morning.
