Investigation is underway into a TRAX light rail train's fatal collision with a pedestrian Tuesday night.
However, Utah Transit Authority officials indicated the incident, just before 8 p.m. near 1100 East and 500 South, appeared to have been a suicide.
UTA established a bus bridge in both directions between its Red Line 900 East and Stadium stations while the victim was removed and scene cleared.
Neither the identity nor gender of the deceased was immediately released.
No crew or passengers on the train were hurt.
