On Wednesday, 250 employees of the Academy Mortgage Corporation gathered at the Grand America Hotel in downtown Salt Lake City to make more than 1,000 fleece blankets for patients at Primary Children's Hospital. They also wrapped over 600 Christmas presents for 25 refugee families now living in Salt Lake City.
The gifts were all donated by Academy employees and included couches, washing machines and dryers, televisions, DVD players, bikes, clothing and toiletries.
