Daniel Kligmann of Sandy will be one of four little chefs with big skills competing on the Tuesday, Nov. 17, episode of "Chopped Junior." The Food Network competition showcases the talents of young cooks between the ages of 9 and 15.

Just like the adult competition, the "Chopped Junior" chefs are given a mystery basket of ingredients and asked to create a winning dish with the time clock ticking. Each round, someone is cut from the competition, and the last chef standing receives the $10,000 prize.

The theme for the Nov. 17 episode is Thanksgiving, and the judges will include special guests Martha Stewart as well as Food Network's Chris Santos and Geoffrey Zakarian. In the first round, Daniel and three other pint-size contestants will be asked to create appetizers using spiral ham.

In round two, they will prepare entrées using three different turkey parts. And in the final dessert basket, the kids work with pumpkin spice lattes and race to claim the ice cream machine. Check local listings for start times.
