Northern Utah can expect a reprieve from near-triple-digit temperatures and a little more rain.

Isolated and scattered thunderstorms and showers will be prevalent across northern and eastern Utah on Sunday, with more isolated storms in south-central and southwest Utah, according to the National Weather Service. A chance of showers and thunderstorms will persist into Monday as well.

Salt Lake City will see highs of 86 and 88 on Sunday and Monday, respectively. St. George can expect highs of 99 and 98.

Salt Lake, Davis, Weber, Utah and Duchesne counties all have moderate air quality Sunday and Monday, according to the Utah Division of Air Quality.
