A Park City man collapsed during the RAGNAR relay race in Paradise on Friday morning and later died.
Cache County sheriff's spokeswoman Erin Griffeth said that Tyler Rasch, 46, appeared to have suffered cardiac arrest at 8:11 a.m. Friday. A paramedic on the scene of the event witnessed the collapse and immediately began CPR, and was soon assisted by other medical personnel.
Rasch was rushed by ambulance to Logan Regional Hospital, but doctors pronounced him dead soon thereafter.
Griffeth said Rasch's body was turned over to the Utah Medical Examiner's Office for an autopsy.
