Weber County deputies have identified Lindsay Brown Holbrook as the woman they discovered murdered early Saturday.

About midnight Saturday, deputies went to the 32-year-old's Washington Terrace apartment and found Holbrook's body. Within hours, investigators arrested an Ogden man, Lyle R. London, under suspicion of aggravated murder, obstruction of justice, desecration of a body, and possessing and using someone else's credit or debit cards.

"Lindsay was a loving mother, amazing aunt, wonderful sister, and she had an incredible sense of humor," her family said in a statement Sunday. "She is loved by a lot of people and will be greatly missed."

London, 38, is suspected of driving Holbrook's car about 11 p.m. Friday, when he was allegedly involved in a hit-and-run accident near 30th Street and Harrison Boulevard, said Weber County Sheriff's Lt. Lane Findlay. About an hour later, deputies went to Holbrook's home at Woodland Cove Apartments, 374 E. Ridgeline Drive.

There they found her body, Findlay said, and saw that she had suffered trauma. Holbrook's children were not in the apartment when deputies arrived, he said.

Officers arrested London on Saturday morning at an Ogden home, according to a sheriff's office news release. Officers also arrested London's wife, 35-year-old Shuree London, under suspicion of obstruction of justice, the news release adds.

Investigators suspect that Shuree London had some knowledge of the crime, Findlay said.

Findlay said Lyle London and Holbrook had some kind of association.

The lieutenant said it's unclear how long Holbrook was dead. Holbrook's family last talked to the woman a few days ago, Findlay said Saturday. An autopsy was planned.
