Posted: 11:13 AM- The Utah Avalanche Center says warnings remain in place for the state's snow-packed mountains.

All along the Wasatch Front -- from Logan in the north, stretching south through Weber, Davis, Salt Lake and Utah counties -- the risk for avalanches is considered moderate.

The same advisory has been issued for the mountains near Manti, and in southeastern Utah, Moab.

The risk is rated "considerable" for the western Uintas today.
