Detectives are seeking an arrest warrant for a second man suspected of stealing 13 rare Mormon scriptures last week from a Salt Lake City museum.

Lt. Tony Garcia of the Utah Bureau of Investigations declined to identify the suspect this morning, but said he'll ask a judge to issue a warrant on charges of felony theft and possession of stolen goods today.

"When we arrest him, hopefully we can determine how the break-in took place," Garcia said.

Late Tuesday or early Wednesday, someone broke through a window at the Daughters of Utah Pioneers Memorial Museum and stole 12 rare editions of the Book of Mormon and one rare copy of the Doctrine and Covenants.

On Friday, investigators arrested Robert M. Lindsay, 48, in connection with the burglary and recovered 11 of the Books of Mormon. Police also recovered medals and ribbons taken from the museum in an earlier burglary.

Garcia said he expects to find the two remaining books soon.
